    Description

Lot of 8 WWII buttons, I was told shirt buttons. The color is a Tan/beige. The are just about 5/8" diamteror made of plastic? Each have the letter "A" and a number. I have used a stapler and books to show the shade of the buttons. They are practically identical in color to the stapler. These came from the estate of Captain Roland Guerin of Buffalo NY. He served in the US Air force in WWII, he was a POW after being shot down as a pilot in his B24. He and his crew bailed out and found themselves in Hungary and ended up in a prison camp. I am not sure where the buttons came from. These were saved along with a few other of his items from his service in the US Airforce.
