    Description

    This is an interesting Italian souvenir spoon from Pompei.  The design is said to be a "Roman reproduction" in what I was able to find online.  The handle is hand-engraved "Domus Vettiorum Pompei", meaning roughly the House of Vettii, which is one of the most lavish homes found thus far in Pompeii.  It is hand-engraved "Nora" on the back of the flat bowl.
    The spoon is just shy of 5" long.  Made of heavy, thick metal, unknown kind.
    Unknown age, but far from new.

    Weight:  a hefty 22.4 grams.
    Engraving:  As described above.
    Condition:   Good condition with some
    light surface wear.
