Rare Original 1957 Disneyland Railroad Passenger 3 Station Train Ticket LOW #
This Original Passenger Train Adult Ticket From The Disneyland Railroad Is A Fine Example Of An Unusual Variation With THREE Station Stops On Main Street, In Frontierland, And In Fantasyland. (Two Of These Stations Have Since Been Replaced With Stations In New Orleans Square And Toon Town) It Has A Very Low Serial Number Of 435836. As Stated, It Is An Adult Ticket, And Is Date Stamped On The Reverse July 1, 1957.
In Disneyland's First Years Attractions Like The Railroad And Mark Twain Riverboat Had Special Tickets Like These That Were Purchased From Ticket Booths At The Attractions. An Admission Stub Would Be Torn Off By The Conductor When The Guest Boarded The Train, And He Would Stamp The Date On The Back With An Old Fashioned Hand Stamp And Return It To The Guest To Complete The Experience Of Riding An Old Time 1800's Passenger Train! These Stamped Tickets Could Then Be Taken Home And Kept As Souvenirs, Though The Ravages Of Time Have Destroyed Or Damaged Many Of These Nostalgic Pieces Of Early Disneyland History.
Disneyland Discontinued The Use Of These Tickets By The Time The 1960's Rolled Around, Making Them Exclusive To The First Couple Of Years The Park Was Open! They Are An Excellent Collectible For Any Disney Fan, Display Beautifully, And Make An Affordable Piece Of Disneyland's Earliest History!
Ticket Is Date Stamped On The Reverse From July 1, 1957. Ticket Only All Stubs Detached Good For 1 Stop Over At Main St Depot, Frontierland Depot, Or Fantasyland Depot. The Boarding Stub Is Gone As Well. This Ticket Has A Very Low Early Serial Number Of 435836. Overall The Ticket Is In Excellent Condition With Very Little Wear!
It's Hard To Find A Disneyland Ticket From The 50's In Such Excellent Condition, So Be Sure Not To Let This One Get Away!
