    Description

    This is a very unusual antique sterling silver souvenir spoon from about 1905.  The goldwashed bowl is hand-engraved in good detail with a view of the historic "Harpers Ferry."  This location played a prominent part in the American Civil War era, around 1859.
    It is about 5-5/8" long with a West Virginia handle.
    Maker's marks: "Sterling" with the cross and crown hallmark used by Manchester, an American company.
    Weight:  about 17.0 grams.
    Engraving: In the bowl only.
    Condition: Very good condition.
