Nice pair of original Republic serial still manuals supplied to theater managers in
support of the studios Classic Cliffhangers. Both two sided Still Manuals measure 8
1/2 x 11 and are in very good condition. Here is the rundown on each:
CANADIAN MOUNTIES VS. ATOMIC INVADERS (1953) Great double sided still
manual features 8 images from the classic Republic serial along with center square
credit box. Reverse of manual features a synopsis of the serial, along with cast
chapter titles and technical credits. Manual is in fine condition, free of any rips,
tears, notable creases or stains. Top of manual has three punch holes used when
placing the manual in a loose leaf binder (which most theater owner maintained for
this kind of item).
JAMES BROTHERS OF MISSOURI (1949) Top double sided still manual features 8
images from the classic cliffhanger along with center square credit box. Reverse of
manual features a synopsis of the serial, along with full cast, chapter titles and
technical credits. Manual is in very good condition. Manual shows some light edge
wear with minor creasing and small tears. Top of manual has three punch holes used
when placing the manual in a loose leaf binder.
