This listing is for an antique sterling silver souvenir spoon from Ohio that was made by the Towle Manufacturing Company. On the top of the handle is a traditional farm scene from Ohio including some mountains, a sunrise, 2 hay stacks and a tree. The name "OHIO" runs down the length of the handle and in the bowl the city name of "Ironton" has been engraved.
This approximately 100 year old spoon measures 5 5/8" and is in wonderful estate condition. It is marked on the back "STERLING" next to the hallmark for the Towle Manufacturing Company.
