    Description

Up for auction is a sterling silver souvenir spoon from the Nevada mining camp of Manhattan.  "Manhattan" and the image of a loaded miner's pack mule are engraved in its bowl, and the head of a Native American and a miner's gold pan with crossed pick and shovel adorn the  handle.  The back also sports the very fancy initial of the original owner.  This spoon dates from Manhattan's boom in 1905;  the camp has had its ups and downs since then, but still has around 100 residents, many working at the gold mine at nearby Round Mountain. This spoon weighs 0.8 ounces, 23 grams, is about 5 3/4 inches long, is stamped "Sterling" on its back and is hallmarked. In very good vintage condition, no particular defects to note which are not shown in the photos.  Please take a close look at the pictures prior to bidding and judge condition for yourself: they show the actual item for sale and are a key part of the description and I want you to be satisfied upon delivery.
Please ask questions before you bid. The item will be shipped within the U.S. by USPS first class parcel, .00 for shipping and handling.
    Shipping can be combined.
Sales outside the United States will be shipped through the eBay international shipping program.  Buyer has thirty days after receipt to initiate return of the item, at buyer's expense, for a full refund. I take selling on eBay seriously and make every effort to describe each item and its flaws (if any) in detail.  Please contact me before leaving any negative feedback and I will do my best to solve any problems.
