    Description

    Great vintage and beautiful, high quality, feeling heavy and solid, full size 5 3/4 inches long (147 mm) sterling silver spoon from Boston Massachusetts dating back to years around 1900 featuring on the front of the handle detailed images of state seal with Indian holding bow and arrow, star, arm with sword above and Latin inscription around, then PLYMOUTH ROCK with a date on it of 1620, then banner reading MASSACHUSETTS, statue of MINUTE MAN and BUNKER HILL MONUMENT down the handle. In the bowl it has colorful painted scene, the writing is
    FANNUEL HALL, BOSTON. It is Armory Building. On the back of the handle it features STATE CAPITOL, HOOSAC TUNNEL with railroad track leading to it, FANNUEL HALL, and MILES STANDISH monument. It is 5 3/4 inches long (147 mm) and in excellent condition. On the back marked STERLING and has hallmark with the old mark of H on a pennant for Mechanics Sterling Company, which was subsidiary of Watson Newell Co.
