    Beautiful, HAND-EMBROIDERED & HAND-DECORATED Antique Child's Special Occasion Dress, c.1900

    ESCRIPTION:
    Scans show it all.....Very nice, very cute antique little girl's dress. Pleasant pastel color. Decorated with several large, 2" flowers on the bottom plus many small flowers at the sleeves, around the neck, and along the bottom, etc. Also, ribbons around the sleeves and around the bottom. Nice pleats at the neck, etc. ALL THE FLORAL DECORATIVE WORK WAS DONE BY HAND-EMBROIDERY AND LOOKS REALLY NICE ON THIS EARLY DRESS.
    Made as a special occasion dress for a very little girl, possibly as young as 1 or 2 years old. Neck hole diameter is about 3 1/2" diameter, distance between the 2 shoulder seams (where the body connects to the sleeves) is 9 1/2", sleeves are 4" long, and the length of the dress is 16".
    Just as originally made.
    Scans show it all, both back and front, and some of the details. Unfortunately I can not show it all in the scans, but it is a beautiful dress decorated with love by a mother for her young daughter. In very good condition overall.
    From my personal collection. THIS COULD BE WORN NOW, TO PROVIDE A CLASSIC LOOK. IT WOULD ALSO BE A GREAT COSTUME, FOR A PARTY, or would make a dramatic wall decoration, framed, on a mannequin for display, as a background/accent piece in a collection, or as a decoration in a dress shop.
