This listing is for a gorgeous AUTHENTIC Emile Galle' French Cameo Art Glass lamp, c. 1900.
This stunning lamp has a beautifully engraved orchid and leaf design in relief above the acid-etched textured background. The background is a mottled light dusty rose and gray color overlaid with purple/amethyst glass cut with the orchid design which covers the lower body and has vines reaching upward around the neck.  Signed in cameo "Galle" and absolutely GUARANTEED to be original. Old wiring but appears to be in good condition.
The glass is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks or repairs. There is an internal no-harm air bubble on base which is commonly found in art glass items (see photos).  No shade.
Measures 24 1/2" (as shown) with the glass body measuring 11 1/4" high, 3 1/4" wide (at shoulders) and the metal base is 5" in diameter. Weighs 2.8 pounds.
