Antique Baby Baptism Christening Long Dress - Museum Quality.
37 inches long.  Neck opening is 9 inches, 3 1/2 inches across.  Sleeves pieced and 6 1/2 inches long at top.  I washed on gentle, and hung outside to dry, still some slight discoloring.  There are 2 little holes.. see last photo ... on the right side about 1/2 way down.... also when I put the lace down around the neck there is a missing piece on the right hand side..  see second to the last photo.
2 small buttons in back, with button holes under the material.. all good.  Lots of pleated material and lace, please check photos and hope I covered everything.  It's lovely.
I stated "Museum quality" and I bought in the 1980's in Carthage, Illinois, at an auction of the closing of their museum.  So it was from the museum at that time.   Don't know the exact year, and can't seem to find anything on the internet.
