The one with tatting at the neckline and the ends of the sleeves may be a day dress or a nightgown. Since both boys and girls wore the long dresses there is no way to tell if these are for a boy or a girl. The tatting dress buttons part way down the back and measures 23" long from sleeve end to sleeve end. 24 1/2" around at the underarms and 26" long from shoulder to bottom of hem. No holes or weak areas, two small dots of stain on the back at the top. The other dress is some fancier with tiny pintucks, lace and white embroidery. It is 10" across the shoulders, 6 1/2" long sleeves and 25 1/2" long from shoulder to bottom of ruffle on the skirt. It also buttons part way down the back. No holes or weak areas, no spotting . Ruffle is separated at the seam for 1/2" but can be repaired.
